GDC 08: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass scoops GDC award
Nintendo was honoured with a Game Developers Choice Award at an award ceremony held last night in San Francisco. The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS won for Best Handheld Game of the Year.
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass continues to be popular in the US and has sold over 1.1 million copies since it was released in October last year.
Nintendo was nominated for three categories including Best Game of the Year (Super Mario Galaxy), Best Handheld Game of the Year (The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass) and Best Game Design (Super Mario Galaxy).
