During Microsoft’s keynote address yesterday at the GDC Tomonobu Itagaki announced that Ninja Gaiden 2 would be out worldwide, exclusively for the Xbox 360, in June. The game will arrive on North American shelves on the 3rd of June with worldwide releases set to follow later in the month.
Itagaki also revealed new Ninja Gaiden 2 game-sharing features, including Ninja Cinema, a new feature available exclusively through Xbox Live that lets players record movies of their ninja action and share them on Xbox Live.
Developed by Team Ninja, Ninja Gaiden 2 sees Ryu Hayabusa set out on a mission to avenge his clan and prevent the human race from being destroyed. The game will feature a new game play engine as well as a new auto-health regeneration system.
Step into the shoes of a ninja warrior, master his weapons and techniques to outwit his foes. The game features new primary weapons and enhanced versions of favourites as well as unique combat and attacks used by Ryu and his enemies.
