Capcom has announced that Devil May Cry 4 has shipped over 2 million copies worldwide, making it the fastest selling game in the series to reach this landmark.
The latest installment in the popular Devil May Cry series was recently released for both the Xbox 360 and PS3, with a PC version just around the corner. The original title was released in 2001 and since then the series has sold more than 9 million copies worldwide.
Devil May Cry 4 sees players plunged into a gothic supernatural world and introduces a new protagonist Nero, who does not quite see eye to eye with Dante. Nero packs a powerful punch with his new Devil Bringer right arm, which players can use to perform powerful attacks and combos, as well as the new Exceed system.
