Activision trademarks DJ Hero
Activision has filed a trademark for a new game called DJ Hero. Although no further details are known, DJ Hero would presumably be a rhythm game.
The trademark, filed on the 8th of February, protects the name ‘DJ Hero’ as well as downloadable software and videogame controllers.
It seems logical that Activision would pursue its previous success in the music genre with its popular Guitar Hero franchise. Activision recently announced the next installment in the Guitar Hero series would be Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, due out in June 2008.
