Super Smash Bros. Brawl sells 1 million in Japan

Super Smash Bros. Brawl has reportedly sold 1 million copies in the eleven days since its release in Japan on the 31st of January.

Reuters is reporting that Enterbrain figures show that SSBB has sold a whopping 1.08 million copies since it was launched in Japan. These figures make SSBB the fastest selling Wii game in Japan, beating Wii Sports (not bundled with the Wii hardware in Japan) which took eleven weeks and Wii Fit which took seven weeks to sell one million copies in Japan.

Last week Media Create figures revealed that Super Smash Bros. Brawl had sold 820 000 copies in its first week on sale.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be released in North America on the 9th of March, however, a European release date has yet to be announced.
