EA and Maxis have announced that Spore will be available worldwide for the Nintendo DS, PC and Macintosh during the weekend of the 7th of September.
“The wait is almost over,” said Maxis Chief Designer Will Wright. “We’re in our final stages of testing and polish with Spore, and the team at Maxis can’t wait to see the cosmos of content created by the community later this year.”
Get ready for the next BIG BANG
The creators of The Sims have given players a chance to ‘create and evolve life, establish tribes, build civilizations, sculpt entire worlds and explore a universe created by other gamers’ in Spore. Players will be able to customize their universe, from the vehicles to the buildings, creatures and UFOs. Players will also be able to share their creations with other Spore gamers.
