If you’re not a fan of Bioshock memorabilia you can eat, maybe a Little Sister figurine would be more to your liking.

Now available at the Take-Two Store, for the sum of $10.00, you can get a 3” tall, ceramic, hand-painted Little Sister figurine. The figurine is also thoughtfully designed to-scale with the Big Daddy figurine that was made available with the Limited Edition version of Bioshock. The Little Sister figurine is just as limited, as it is a one-time production run, only available to purchase through the Take-Two store… and E-Bay when the time is right.

A member of Capcom, John Diamonon, has revealed via his blog that Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix has sold over 250 000 units since its debut on the PlayStation Store and Xbox LIVE Marketplace last month.

Ryu Thumbs UpThe game has apparently also broken downloadable content records, surpassing both day one and week one sales records, and is on its way to becoming the highest grossing digital title ever. Diamonon thanked the fans for the game’s success:

“Last but not least, I want to give a big shout out to the hard core Street Fighter community who kept this game relevant for the past 15 years and spread the word to the entire gaming industry that Street Fighter is still the “best around”!”

After reports that Free Radical employees arrived at work one day, only to find the locks changed and security guards keeping them out of the office, rumours spread wildly that the company behind games such as Time Splitters, Second Sight and Haze, had shut down.

Free Radical Design Logo It’s now been revealed, however, that Free Radical have instead been placed in to administration, a process by which a third-party attempts to resolve their client’s debts. A member of Resolve Partners, an administration group in the UK, Cameron Gunn said:

“We will be spending the next three or four days assessing the financial position of the company but it’s business as usual, although we have asked that almost all of the employees apart from a skeleton crew remain at home.”

“All employees have been paid up until the end of December and we hope to make another announcement before Christmas or very soon thereafter, but we must stress at this stage that it’s business as usual.”

Of concern to Free Radical fans, however, is the fact that co-founder David Doak, as well as other key senior Free Radical members, have left the company to form a new development outfit, Pumpkin Beach. Another worrying sign of Free Radical’s health is the reported loss of the rights to develop the third Star Wars Battlefront game, with the project going to another UK developer, Rebellion. Uneasy times, to say the least.

Another outpouring of Resident Evil 5 media has taken place in the form of five videos, featuring gameplay in a myriad of locations and situations. What’s different about these videos is that most of them are explicitly from the PS3 version of Resident Evil 5.

The first video has the title of ‘Beheading Gameplay,’ which is actually a pretty accurate description of the following video. You’ve been warned:

The rest of the videos follow below, or you can check out even more footage here, here and here.

Hot on the heels of Capcom revealing the US box art for upcoming survival horror Resident Evil 5, the UK box art for the game has also surfaced.

The box art features a large red Africa in the background with the words ‘Kijuju’ and ‘They are in Kijuju’ scrawled across it. If you take a closer look at the tip of Africa you will see the shadows of numerous zombies but unlike the American version Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar do not appear on the cover.

Another thing you can tell from the box art is that Resident Evil 5 has been slapped with an 18 age restriction in the UK.

It’s been officially announced that the new Batman game, Batman: Arkham Asylum, will feature at least two of the voices that have come to be associated with the franchise - Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill.

Batman Arkham Asylum SmallConroy would be known to fans of the animated Batman series as playing the voice of The Batman himself, while Mark Hamill has been associated with the voice of The Joker for just as long a period (also notable for being in those Star Wars flicks…).

Both actors are very involved in the voice acting gig, contributing to legions of animated features, Hamill in particular performing roles in dozens of TV and videogame projects. It is also believed that Conroy has played the role of Batman for longer than all of his live-action counterparts combined. That’s a long time!

You can check out a teaser trailer for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum over here. With an ‘original voice cast,’ this is definitely one for fans to look forward to!
