Three Gears of War 2 COGs have been hidden around Johannesburg North, South Africa. Each day this week, from today until Friday, GPS co-ordinates will be revealed providing the exact location of one COG.
Once you find it (or if find it) and retrieve it, you need to comment below telling us that it has been found, also describing the exact place you found the COG. Once we have verified this information (making sure you aren’t telling pork pies) you will be entitled to a copy of Gears of War 2, which can be collected from the NAG magazine office in Johannesburg. Here are today’s co-ordinates:
Wednesday - 26º 01.808”S / 28º 00.069”E
If you find the COG, you get to keep it, as well as use the unique service ID number (CSID) that enables you to unlock extra content from the Gears of War 2 site. If you miss out today, there are still two more days to go.

Nothing happening in Cape Town, to my knowledge. As you may know, we're based in Durban, so we've also been left out... if that makes you feel any better ;)
Damn, just got back from work now, I'll have to try for tomorrow's one.
FOUND IT! It was half buried underneath the round-a-bout in a park in Fourways. I had to scale the fence to get in, because the gates were locked, as it was after dark. I had to use a flashlight and my Garmin to pinpoint the location. Most exciting competition I've ever entered.
So how do I redeem the prize?

Like Lisa said, as soon as the details are verified, you'll be able to collect your prize at the NAG offices presumably on or around launch day. The COG itself will obviously be proof of your excavation!

I noticed that the NAG forum also asks that you post that you've found it. Should I register on their site and comment about the fact that I've found it? Or is posting here good enough?
