Earlier in the week Capcom spilled the beans that Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix will be released on the 26th of November on Xbox Live Arcade. Yesterday Capcom confirmed that the anticipated beat ‘em up would arrive on the PlayStation Network on the 25th of November.
The post on SCEA’s PlayStation blog also revealed that the game would cost $14.99. The game will feature online play and 1080p graphics, two types of gameplay (original and rebalanced) but trophies will not be available at launch.
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is a remake of the classic beat ‘em up that features new 1080p high definition art, redrawn character art and backgrounds as well as online multiplayer for up to two players.
Capcom also announced that Street Fighter fans will be able to download the Street Fighter Underground Remix Soundtrack for free. This soundtrack will be exclusive to the PlayStation Network and will include original songs inspired by the series from various hip hop artists. The album will feature music from artists including Redman, Hieroglyphics, DJ Qbert, DJ Tourne, Zion I, Mistah F.A.B and Oh No.
Last but not least Capcom’s John Diamonon promised a little Street Fighter surprise “later this holiday season” so stay tuned. Anyone want to place a wager on what the surprise will be?
