PlayStation 3 is two
As confusing as the title may appear, it’s really quite simple. As the Playstation 3 launched 2 years ago, on November 17th in the US, it is now 2 years old - although it did release a few days earlier in Japan, making it two years ‘and a few days’ old.
In this time, Sony have netted 14 million active users on the PlayStation Network, with those users downloading 273 million pieces of content since the service’s inception, including a growth of over 100 million in under five months.
For all of the PS3’s milestones Sony have celebrated over the last two years, you can head on over to the US PlayStation Blog for John Koller’s (Director of Hardware Marketing) trumpet blowing.

Some freebies would have been nice.
Yeah, seriously! How about a PSN game, or something...
Oh well. I guess we can't expect miracles from Sony... I guess if they do it once, they'll have to do it every year for their expected 10 year lifespan.
I guess. ;)
I would have liked a new rumble controller to celebrate....sigh.
