While Super Robot Wars Z temporarily held the top spot last week, it was merely a formality, as Pokemon Platinum moves back to the No. 1 spot from No. 2 last week, with 122 000, wracking up 1 595 000 sales in total. Super Robot Wars Z, now at No. 3, reached 60 000 in sales, now sitting at 426 000 copies sold total.
Rhythm Tengoku Gold, another chart-stomper, managed 54 000 copies this week, with a total of 906 000 since its debut. Still sitting comfortably in the Top Ten, and moving up three places since last week, Wii Fit helps itself to another 21 000 customers, reaching a combined sales total of 2 706 000.
There are a bunch of new entries to the chart this week, not least of which is Dynasty Warriors 5 Special, entering the charts at No. 2 with 110 000 copies sold. Other new releases include Powerful Major League 3, debuting at No. 6, with 18 000 copies, ToLoveru placed at No. 7 with 16 000 copies and Ikkitosen selling 15 000 copies this week to reach the No. 8 position. World Destruction, also sitting at around 15 000, slips from No. 4 last week to No. 9, while Dragonball DS manages stays in the Top Ten with 12 000 copies (and a total of 115 000), moving from No. 6 to No. 10.
With all of these new entries, that means that there was quite a bit of shifting around to make way, although Mario Kart Wii actually managed to climb up from No. 13 to No. 11. Disaster: Day of Crisis drops to No. 17 from No. 10 last week, while Aquanaut’s Holiday falls to No. 16 from No. 9. Daigasso! Band Brothers DX, a fan favourite, manages to hang around at No. 13 this week from No. 11, while Trusty Bell, at No. 14 last week, moves down to No. 26 this week. X-Edge, previously at No. 7, is now down at No. 20
