WipEout HD PS3 Review
Take a collection of hoverships. Add a rollercoaster circuit, the occasional weapon and drop in a thumping soundtrack. This has been the Wipeout recipe since 1995. Wipeout HD is no different. In fact, it’s better than Wipeout 2097 – you heard right.

I tried it...didn't like it. I know wipeout is all about the speed, but it's also distractingly colorful—almost as if a rainbow exploded. It's fun for a short bit, but not my cup of tea :)
Well, I guess it's not for everyone ;)
I keenly remember the first time I played a WipEout game, which was WipEout XL (or 2097 in PAL regions) - man! So awesome!
I'd love to get my hands on WipEout HD just to see how the series has evolved/changed. My guess; not much. That's not such a bad thing, though.
Unfortunately hovercraft racing is not for everyone, but those that are fans of that racing genre is in for a treat and those that have followed Wipeout since its early days are in for an even better threat.
