Games available today on the ‘ole Xbox LIVE Arcade service (XBLA) include something called Crazy Mouse as well as the anticipated Age of Booty, according to Major Nelson’s blog.
Crazy Mouse, rated E for everyone, but with comic mischief, is available for 400 Microsoft Points. The only clue on the blog as to what it could possibly be are the words, “Upgrade to the full version of Crazy Mouse and unlock all 32 single-player stages. You’ll also get 16 multiplayer maps for cooperative or competitive play, ranked matches via Xbox LIVE, leaderboards, achievements, and more!” These words don’t help much. More digging reveals that Crazy Mouse is the first original Xbox LIVE Arcade game from mainland China and is a “class arcade-style action game”. Intriguing. There’s more:
“Easy to pick up but tough to beat, Crazy Mouse features unique, funny characters and highly addictive gameplay… Crazy Mouse is always a party, whether you’re playing online or alone!” Still doesn’t really tell us anything, but maybe you can check out the demo on XBLA.
The other title available today is the more well known Age of Booty from Capcom and Certain Affinity, a “game of pirate strategy and cannon-blasting action that’s fun for all ages. Sail the high seas alone or with friends as you build your pirate empire by plundering villages, sinking ships, and sending your enemies to the briny deep!” Age of Booty will cost you 800 MS Points.
