Last year Sega published a version of the popular PC game Myst for the PSP which Midway is set to release in Europe later this year. Midway recently announced that Myst will be heading to the DS in Europe in November. It has not yet been confirmed whether Myst will be released in the US.
The DS version will include source code which has been rewritten specifically for the DS, newly remastered video and audio as well as new sounds, effects and video clips. Players can look forward to exploring a completely New Age known as the Rime Age for which the graphics have been newly created specifically for the DS. Players will also be able to save multiple games for various players.
Myst – experience it
Myst is an adventure that sees players exploring different times and places of different worlds. With no instructions and no help from any living beings, players will soon realize that they can help individuals trapped in a parallel dimension. Players must solve puzzles, mazes and problems as they investigate Myst’s environments and unfold the intrafamily drama. Expect no help from inventories, death or dialogue as there are none. Myst features non-linear game play that allows players to go anywhere at any time.
