Gamecock and Firefly detail 360’s Dungeon Hero

Gamecock has announced that Firefly Studios’ Dungeon Hero is set to be released in early 2009 on the Xbox 360 and PC. Dungeon Hero is the first dungeon-based game to depict dungeon life realistically and players can expect to be immersed in the danger and daily routine of dungeon life, complete with HD graphics, detailed environments as well as ‘goblin cheese merchants, jailed troll miners and helpful imps just looking for peace.’

“Dungeon Hero sets itself apart from every dungeon game that has come before it,” said Rick Stults, Console Chief for Gamecock Media Group. “We love the realism that the game portrays, the living breathing dungeon aspect is something unique that hasn’t been done anywhere before and that’s the key to the innovation we’re looking to promote.”

Dungeon Hero promises to give players a fresh take on classic dungeon based games with the in-game world being a functional community. Players will learn that dungeon creatures live the same way as any person, eating, sleeping, chatting, socializing, trading, traveling and, of course, engaging in close quarters combat as well as melee, ranged and magic skills against various enemies. This action RPG allows players to face the enemies alone or team up with a friend to face the dangers of the dungeon.

‘Dark times call for one to stand against many, will you be the one strong enough to become the Hero of the Dungeon?’
