Renegade Kid will be working with a new development house, Gamecock Media Group, to launch Dementium: The Ward for the DS. Players can expect an action-adventure, FPS and survival horror rolled into one that promises to deliver a new experience on the DS as well as “creep you out with gory visuals and bone-chilling audio.”
According to Jools Watsham, Owner and Creative Director of Renegade Kid, they are “looking to move above and beyond what most games are attempting on the DS,” and believe that “Dementium showcases what a powerful piece of hardware the DS is, while drawing in a mature crowd that’s looking for a title they can really sink their teeth into.”
Dementium: The Ward tells the tale of a man who awakens to find himself alone in an abandoned hospital that appears to be frozen in time. Expect to be confronted by the “deadly, grotesque surgical experiments that wander the halls, a series of challenging puzzles and a cast of peculiar characters” in this game as the man faces his fears, unlocks the hospital’s mysteries and attempts to escape alive.
