Ubisoft today announced that it is creating a new brand in the Tom Clancy series of video games, Tom Clancy’s EndWar. The game is being developed by Ubisoft’s Shanghai studio and will be led by Ubisoft’s creative director Michael de Plater. The teams experience includes developing Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell. Tom Clancy’s EndWar is scheduled to be released in fiscal year 2007/2008 on next-generation consoles.
A strategy game like no other
Set on World War III’s battlefields, Tom Clancy’s EndWar is a war strategy game built solely for next-generation consoles which is said to showcase AI, graphics, physics and animations made possible by the new hardware systems.
