Pronto Games is one of the companies authorized by Nintendo to develop products for the Wii. It has been reported that they have just been given the green light to bring the sword-wielding Zorro to the Wii in a new game titled The Destiny of Zorro.

The developers have not revealed very much to date, only that the game will be ‘instantly engaging’ and ‘fun.’ Pronto’s strategy is to develop games where game play is showcased first and they promise that “the visuals are high quality, as are the audio and storyline.” They also commented that new and old gamers alike would enjoy the game, as it is “easy to understand, with challenges for casual gamers but with an interest level that will attract hard core gamers too.”

The Destiny of Zorro is slated to be released for Christmas 2007. With the endless possibilities of sword-wielding action with the Wii Remote, it promises to be well worth the wait.
