Nintendo’s VC service has generated $33 million
Nintendo has reported that the Wii’s Virtual Console service has generated 3.5 billion Yen, roughly $33 million, to date.
According to IGN, the licensing director for Nintendo, Shinji Hatano divulged the figure at a Q & A after a recent press conference in Tokyo by Nintendo and NTT.
Nintendo reported that 7.8 million items have been downloaded over the service so far. Hatano stated “We’re currently unsure if this is a lot or low. They’re not bad figures.”
