The first screenshots for Sega’s upcoming action game Iron Man, based on Marvel’s iconic superhero, have been released.
Sega and Marvel entered into an agreement in late 2006 whereby Sega secured the exclusive rights to develop video games for all platforms based on Marvel’s Iron Man property including both Marvel’s Iron Man feature films and comic books.
The first project under this agreement is based on Marvel’s upcoming Iron Man film starring Robert Downey Jr, Terrence Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jeff Bridges which is headed to theatres on the 2nd of May 2008. Iron Man is currently in development for the next-gen consoles including the PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii as well as the PS2, Nintendo DS, PSP and PC. It is scheduled to be released in Spring 2008.
