Sunday 04 Mar 2007 EA recently announced SimCity DS, developed especially for the DS platform. Players will be able to create and grow their own city on the go as well as discover a new way to play this celebrated franchise by making use of the unique features of the DS. SimCity DS will debut worldwide this summer. SimCity remains true to the series with players being able to create and control their city. The game maximizes the stylus and built-in microphone controls of the DS and players will feel personally involved in their city like never before, putting out city fires by blowing into the microphone or signing mayoral proclamations with the stylus. Additional interactivity is provided with the wireless data exchange feature which enables players to communicate with each other. Keep a look out for recognizable international landmarks which feature in the game. |

Comments
I played Sim City to overexhaustion on the PC. To the point, perhaps, where I'm quite sick of it. One wonders if this version brings anything radically new to the franchise that changes the game dynamic.
