Nintendo DS reaches 20 million sales mark in JapanFriday 23 Nov 2007 The latest figures from Media Create indicate that the Nintendo DS has sold over 20 million units in Japan to date. The Nintendo DS’s life to date figure is 20 042 862. Nintendo’s handheld is streaks ahead of Sony’s PSP which has sold 6.8 million units to date. It also places Sony’s PS2 life to date sales of 20.8 million firmly in sight. The Nintendo DS has consistently topped the hardware sales in Japan this year, selling 76 084 units for the week ending the 18th of November. In comparison the PSP sold 65 609 units.
