Bomberman Live Bomb-Up Pack 2

Hudson today announced a second add-on for the Bomberman Live game on Xbox Live Arcade. Bomb-Up Pack 2 features new content including ten characters, two levels, two leaderboards and a new game mode. Bomb-Up Pack 2 will cost 250 Microsoft Points when it launches on the 26th of September.

“We continue to see great success with Bomberman Live, and are committed to bringing fresh new content through add-on packs for the game,” said John Greiner, President and CEO of Hudson Entertainment. “Hudson is always pushing the creative envelope, and featuring a major gaming website in a game, a first for the industry, is a fun way to demonstrate our dedication to the community.”

Players can customize Bomberman with the robotic mascot of Destructoid who comes complete with his trademark helmet and white suit. Also keep an eye out for cavewoman ‘Bomberella’ and matador ‘El Bombito.’

The two new levels are ‘Medieval Times,’ where bombs and sorcery reportedly collide, and ‘Full Tilt’ racetrack which is apparently hypersonic. The new game mode, ‘Bomb Shelters’ allows players to hide from explosions in a small, fireproof building. The two new leaderboards will track Bomberman’s performance on a weekly and an all-time basis on the new ‘Full Tilt’ map.
